Richard Bayliss

Richard started his criminal career slighlty later than others, having previously worked in the City of London as an Analyst for a consultancy firm. He started with Lawtons in 2004 as a Trainee Solicitor.

Richard obtained a 1st Class degree in Law and qualified as a Solicitor in 2007. Richard quickly obtained his Police Station Accreditation qualification and membership of the Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme followed shortly after.

After 5 years of service at Lawtons working as a Trainee Solicitor and as a qualified Solicitor, representing clients in many different cases and circumstances, Richard moved away from the Bedfordshire area for 2 years and continued to specialise in Crime. In 2011 Richard returned to Bedfordshire and rejoined Lawtons Solicitors to continue his career in criminal law.

The attention to detail that served Richard well in his career in the City and enabled him to excel at University is now benefiting those fortunate to be represented by him at Court. Richard is developing as an extremely able and confident Advocate before the Criminal Courts in the Bedfordshire area.
