Stephen Halloran
As one of the Founders of the Company Stephen has a vast level of experience in all types of cases. This ranges from cases, from the Magistrates Court through to the Court of Appeal.
During the course of the last year Stephen has been instructed in relation to a number of high profile cases, most notably the successful defence of Claire Finch who had been charged in relation to an offence of Brothel Keeping. The case attracted national headlines and led to Stephen being interviewed by the BBC and The Times, amongst others. The Barrister instructed commented on the ability of Stephen and the Firm as follows:

Stephen has the relevant level of experience to act as a Case Supervisor for VHCC Panel cases and has undertaken that role previously. Only those with a relevant level of exposure to a high level of Criminal cases are eligible for this role. He has also previously Prosecuted cases on behalf of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Stephen was previously a Peer Reviewer, which is a scheme administered by the Legal Services Commission, to ensure a high quality standard for Solicitors.
Along with Alan Jones, Stephen deals with Road Traffic matters.
Stephen is a Higher Court Advocate and member of the Solicitors Association of Higher Courts Advocates as well as the Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme administered by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Having attended school locally, Cardinal Newman followed by Luton Sixth Form College, Stephen read for and completed a Degree at the University of Leeds in International History and Politics. A Law conversion course at the York College of Law followed and Stephen qualified as a Solicitor in 1999. Since that time, he has specialised in Criminal Defence work.
